granola & aprons

Last week at craft class we made granola...each kid made a 1/2 batch to take home with them.
The recipe is over at Ransacked Goods...a terrific recipe, easy to make and completely adaptable.

While the granola was baking to its golden goodness the kids made aprons from the IKEA tea towels, bits of colored felt hand-stitched on for a pocket and ribbons hand-stitched on for a sash.
A fun project with the idea of a gift for Mother's Day...
thus the late craft class recap post.

  1. What a great craft--perfect mother's day gifts.

  2. That apron is so adorable! And aprons are so well used and loved, aren't they? Granola is always so homey and welcome too.

I love comments!
