raising foodies week 8

Week 8.
A big thanks to Joslyn for arranging, planning and inspiring this cooking group.

Since we were having a wee dinner party here, I opted to prepare lasagna.
It is possible I had not made lasagna in over a year...I am sure of it actually.

Not just any lasagna but Giada's lasagna.
Which includes the most delish...bechamel.

I used my own roasted tomato sauce, added extra beef and used fresh spinach instead of frozen.
Yes, I adapted nearly every recipe.
Nutsy, I know.

Why is lasagna so tasty yet so icky to photograph?
reviews: a lot of asking for seconds and claims it was the best lasagna ever and a friend of Jude's asked if it was homemade because it tasted better than his dad's recipe.
