plum tart

had a hankering for baked plums in some form or the other.

settled on vanilla plum tart with a sweet shortbread crust.

adapted from the donna hay cookbook "flavours"

I added almond paste to the filling, an almond meal base.
scrumptious even for lunch the next day.
how was your weekend?
we enjoyed family time, food time and yesterday a hike with family.
no photos (too many other photographers, i went camera free) but a good time.
later we shared a meal and of course the plum tart.
