Yesterday,the kids and I were invited to join a friend and her daughter on their weekly trek to a local farmer's market.
It was a beautiful summery day and I knew ice cream would be involved.
A fun outing.
Stone fruit and melon were sampled.
Ice cream tasted. (I had a ginger cardamon ice cream sandwich)
Veggies, bread and the such were purchased.
And of course prepared.
A scrumptious summer feast.
Delicious corn on the cob and crunchy salad (arugula and lettuce from our garden barrel) and amazing olive bread.
I love summer meals like this.
