Another Giveaway!

I recently bought and read this little book called "Dirty Little Secrets from Otherwise Perfect Moms" by Trisha Ashworth and Amy Nobile.
I read their first book "I Was A Really Good Mom Before I had Kids" and when I saw the second book I snatched it right up.
These books are fun easy reads...no Shakespeare but speak straight to the heart of moms and remind us that we are all in this mom journey together.
If you are a mom, about to be a mom or know a mom who might enjoy these books leave your best "Mom" comment on this post and I will randomly (via my children) pick a winner next Wednesday  (my 7th anniversary of motherhood).
The catch however, is that you must pass the books on to another mom after you read the; leave them on a park bench at the playground, have your own blog giveaway or drop the books on a friends doorstep.

Spread the word.

Winner winner!

  1. Hmmm, my best mom comment? Such pressure! My best mom comment is that I never appreciated my own mom until I become a mom myself...and I guess I'll have to wait until I'm a grandma to get the appropriate level of appreciation from my own kids. Talk about delayed gratification!

  2. What my mom said? What I say? Or what my kids say about me? Hmm....so many choices! I think I'd have to say the best general mom comment I heard recently was...."something only a mom can understand...the days are long, but the years are short."

    So true.

  3. Am I too late? It is too late for my brain to think when next wed is or was. I think I am safe.

I love books like this and love the idea of passing it on.

Sorry to hear about your eye again. Does not sound fun.

  4. I loved the first book although I was still very new at being a mom.

  5. Another great giveaway! You're so fun Nicole! Ok my favorite mom comment...hmm... mirror, mirror on the wall...I'm my mother after all! There ya have it! My fingers are crossed!

  6. My best mom comment is to know that we can only do the best we can do with the knowledge and experience that we have at the time. And to have a braces fund and a therapy fund for the crooked things that follow.

I love comments!
